Dr. Marc Jarzebowski
Marc Jarzebowski was born in Bremen. He studied history, Protestant theology, and art history in Marburg and London. He received his PhD at the Historical Institute of the Free University of Berlin in 2004 and was a member of the Institute there. Since then he has esstablished himself as a freelance genealogist and historian, initially known by the name Taxodium, and since 2017, as DMJ.
Jennifer Bernard was born in Oranienburg and she studied History and German Studies in Berlin. She was involved in projects of the Federal German Foundation for the Study of the Communist Dictatorship in East Germany, the Museum and Memorial of Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp, and Kreismuseum Oberhavel. She is currently employed full-time in the Oranienburg Tourism and Culture Association (TKO gGmbH). A passionate family researcher, Jennifer has been part of our team since May 2016.
